We live close to the beach and love to go. Angie's family goes camping at the beach for a week every year.
David is now two years old and there is no stopping him! He is a very happy little boy who loves to laugh.
After we finished laying our sod in our new backyard, David and his cousin celebrated by getting drenched in the sprinklers.
David loves animals and tractors, so we took him to the local fair. He loved the cows, but I don't know if the cows were all that crazy about him...
I love this photo! We went out for a hike on a local trail, and David couldn't resist stopping to play in the dirt.
We went up to Utah this summer to visit family. We stopped in at BYU and took David to see the animals in the Bean Museum. He loves moose just like his mom, but we were still surprised when he tried to give him a kiss!
We just bought a new house and have been working on the backyard. It is fun working on it together as a family. Our lot is almost a 1/4 acre, so there is plenty of room to play.

My dad made this chair for me when I was David's age. I love to see David now sit in it.

David is a climber and explorer. He is fearless. It is fun to watch Ed and David together because they have an excitement for life that just seems to boil over into everything.
We love to go to the park together. There is a park that is just a few blocks from us that has great slides.
David loves to go down the slide. The minute he gets to the bottom he is already begging to go back up.
We love to go on hikes together. David starts out the hike walking, but pretty soon Dad will be carrying him :)

Angie use to have pet ducks as a little girl and still can't walk past a duck without saying hi.

Angie and David watching an animal show at the zoo. We have season passes to the zoo and love to go often.
Ed and David love to build forts and towers out of the couch cushions and blankets.

We were sealed together in the San Diego Temple in the same sealing room we were married in by the same temple sealer, Ed's grandpa. We tell David that just like we had to find each other before we could become a family, we also had to find him too.
David is obsessed with pumpkins, he probably loves them more then Elmo. We took him to a pumpkin patch and he was in absolute heaven.
David loves anything with wheels, so we took him to a huge train museum.
Ed and David riding the carousel at Knotts Berry Farm.
Since David loves Elmo so much, I decided to make him an Elmo doll for Christmas. At first he kept shaking him trying to get Elmo to talk to him.
We love books, and David loves it when we read to him. It is about the only time he sits still. He especially likes Dr. Seuss and any book with Elmo in it.
Here are the two boys just home from church. They both looked so cute that Angie took a picture.
This summer we went up to Salt Lake City. While we were there, we took David on his first trip to Temple Square.
Climbing in the trees along the trail to Bridal Veil Falls.
We love to laugh and our house can get quite noisy at times. David will get into these amazing laughing fits where he gets to laughing so hard that his face turns purple.

David loves to peek over Ed's shoulder.

Ever since David was very little he has loved to hold our hands. We are a very affectionate family with a lot of hugging and kissing.
